The building has been laid out and the post holes have been dug with an auger.

After cleaning the holes out , 5"x 5" treated sq. post are placed

3' in the ground.

5"x 5" treated post are spaced on 10' centers

The post have been have been plumbed and the dirt tamped back into the holes.

2 x 4 or 2 x 6 bottom skirt boards are attached around the bottom of the post.

Any lumber that would come into contact with the ground are treated.
